A rectangular stone form used to shape flat bronze battle-axes. Its surface displays a warm, earthy hue. On one side, two parallel moulds are visible: a larger one with a smaller companion nearby, while on the opposite face, an enormous axehead takes shape. The craftsmanship suggests origins in Ireland.
