Axial SCX24 C10 Gooseneck Mount

This is a gooseneck bed mount for the Axial SCX24 Chevrolet C10 truck. Load is placed slightly behind the rear axle and spread across the bed and frame. Because the body mounting screws are very close to the back of the bed, two of the mounting tabs are open, and two fully enclose their screws. _The fully enclosed tabs are the front._ Mounting this requires punching two small holes in the bed of the body, and some hardware: - 2x m1.4 screws, 8mm or longer - 4x m1.4 flat washers - 4x m1.4 silicone washers - 2x m1.4 nuts - optional: another 2x m1.4 8mm screws to replace the originals For the post: - 1x m2 screw, 10mm or longer - 1x m2 ball head screw: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087X7TLYP - 2x m2 nut To assemble: - open the truck and partially unscrew the two m1.4 screws in the back of the bed - place the truck bed on a piece of corrugated cardboard or thick foam - align the bed mount with the back screws in the open tabs - using the front (enclosed) tabs as a guide, punch holes in the bed - remove the back screws entirely - add a flat metal washer to each of the m1.4 screws - push 2 screws through the front (enclosed) tabs of the bed mount - place 2 silicone washers over the front (punched) bed holes - align the bed mount with screws over the silicone washers and front holes - screw the bed mount front tabs through the bed - screw the m1.4 nuts onto the front mount screws - place 2 silicone washers over the rear (existing) bed holes - align the rear screws with the rear (open) tabs, silicone washers, and existing bed holes - screw the rear screws back into the body hinge (you may need to replace the original screws with longer ones)
