The remixed adjuster frednava67 shared, didn't work for me. So I created this one. I's kinda crude, but I suppose it might trigger a better idea. I cut the fixed part from lpaelke's design, and created a new top part that has a furniture barrel bolt embedded in it. That idea came from Strudler's focus adjuster. The barrel nut provides a little movement outwards. Barrel nut is Hillman Dowel Nut, 3/8-in x 1/2-in x 1/4-20-in, from Canadian Tire. So threaded rod is 1/4-20-in. I picked some up from Home Depot. I need to get the proper tapered bolt, and print some knobs. I tested it at my azimuth, and it looked like it might adjust ok throughout the 50mm gap provided in the fixed bottom. I generated it in openscad, but that file's a mess. Modified the top piece, as I need clearance around the azimuth bolt. also filled in the bottom area for more strength. Once I take another photo, I'll delete the version in the first photo.
