B1 Battle Droid V3 (Lego Compatible) (Reupload because Thingiverse)

thingiverse

It was not showing up in my things, and would not show up when searched for, so I had to reupload. If you want a much more realistic take, look here: https://venompaintball.store/products/realistic-battle-droid?utm_content=ios&utm_medium=product-links&utm_source=copyToPasteboard This version is for people who want a more Lego look to the final print. I would add part numbers, but I don't know what they would be called. Any recommendations for part numbers greatly appreciated. This is an update for https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4723399 to make it more poseable while keeping the joints big enough they might be printable. It changes the torso to be more movie (and cartoon) accurate, and adds the ability to have separate legs. This unfortunately means only the included legs are officially supported, but I have never of heard anyone who prefers the legs being permanently fused together. Only the parts to make the figure are included, but it is fully compatible with the original linked above, as well as most things Lego Star Wars droids are. As this is a continuation more than a new thing, go to the other thing above for any additional information. Update 1: The head has now been updated sufficiently for my needs. But, it is considered non-manifold for some reason. It prints fine in Cura, but I haven't tested with resin. Any tips on making a blender model manifold are appreciated. I manually edited the mesh in blender to make it prettier, but ended up with issues despite manually closing every gap. Update 2: Improved the head and torso again. A new blank head is added for changing the eye design with paint. New torso designs include one with the tube parts that I believe were for balance or added strength, and one without if you prefer a simpler design. I keep seeing things that could use adjustment, but this design would be easy to injection mold if you wanted to. Oh, and "Battle Droid Torso.stl" is only for visual comparison. The old leg design is not included in this thing, so do not print the incompatible body. Old parts are left only for comparison, but can all be printed with proper settings, and should work. Update 3: Now includes a commando droid torso to make your commando droid look better, shorter, and more accurate. I don't have a head for the commando yet, so you and I will have to look around either IRL or on Thingiverse. Update 4: I believe the design is close enough to finalized to remove the "thing in progress" tag. More changes may come in future, but they will be small. Update 5: Made a new version. It fixes the commando droid torso being unable to use legs, and adds a commando droid head. It also makes improvements to the battle droid arms, legs, and torso pieces.
