We discovered these modular baby playpens when we had our first child and quickly decided to get them for all our friends when they started having babies. Turns out we were also the last in our group to have a new baby and thus received all the panels back as hand-me-downs… so I needed to expand their versatility as we now had so many extra panels.

This T-connector piece is modeled after the original connectors and has been handy to cordon off furniture/areas for our youngest crawler while providing additional stability.

The use case for this is probably limited, but I figure those who need it will appreciate it. I was inspired by the “baby jail nut driver by diagnosis”. This tool should've been provided by the manufacturer in the first place in my opinion.

Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5173082

I included diagnosis' model here in case thingiverse implodes until it is posted in another repository.

With the exception of the sock, everything should be sliced upside down from how it is assembled. I recommend printing with supports; they shouldn't be much and have been painless to remove in my experience. Occasionally the support around the bottom fillets can be annoying to remove, but nothing too crazy.

There are two variants of the bolt; v4 has 3 shallow “locking surfaces” which more easily allows you to remove the bolt from the bolt base. v6 has four deeper surfaces which may require some force to insert and would be somewhat more difficult to remove but not as much as the original design by the manufacturer. If printing at finer resolutions than .2mm go with v4; I am accounting for some dimension loss in slicing on the internal diameters at 2mm.

Just for fun I intend to add a 4 point configuration and possibly a 5 point. I will also upload a standard 2 point replacement part in the future. It depends on if my baby maze project gets vetoed ;)

Added an embossed bolt version.

Embossed image icon by svgrepo.com, https://www.svgrepo.com/page/licensing
