Babylon 5 Omega Class Destroyer (remix) cut for printing w/0 support

thingiverse

This is a remix of Mike1701 omega destroyer. This remix has been cut up for -printing with out supports. It has been cut in such a way that I can be easy scaled up, a large model can be printed and built (at least 500%). I have left it in Mike1701 original scale. The rotating habitation section can be assembled as a stationary part, or made to move freely. To make rotating section move you will have to provide a central axel (PVC, metal, etc.) and drill corresponding holes in front and rear hull sections as well as rotating module. All ship cannons have been uploaded as a separate file. All ventral and dorsal cannons are the same, just print as many as you need (12 I think). Also, the cannons pivot on a disk axel. Files with disks removed or attached have been included for printing convenience (attached will require supports). Disks have been included separately as well (do not print if choosing cannons with disks attached). The cannons can be made to move by a similar process as the habitation module. I have cut and uploaded the rear engine assembly in two forms. The first is complete with "engine cover". This may prove difficult to print and may require support or slower printing speeds. The second, is with the "engine cover" removed but included as a separate file. If choosing engine assembly with cover included do not print separate engine cover.
