This statuette corresponds to the mention of a "Little Bacchus holding a bucket in the left hand". It was pointed out at the Palais-Cardinal in 1643 and then in the collection of the Duchesse d'Aiguillon (1694-1675) in 1675. This is one of the rare antiques of the Parisian collection of Richelie. The position of the ancient torso fragment recalls the Adonis Mazarin.
