Backpack Hanger

Backpack Hanger

thingiverse

This cool little hanger provides a simple and effective way to keep your backpack up off of the ground. This idea is not entirely original as I saw someone else with something similar, but much larger and with a bunch of features that were probably more appealing to the bush crafter than the backpacker. My primary purpose in creating this was for my SAR kit. We get dumped in the wilderness and can find ourselves knee-deep in the brush, on a slope, and needing to pitch a tarp for the night. Forever having the contents of my pack spilling out and tired of searching through the brush for things, I thought an ultralight hanger would be perfect. I designed it to be symmetrical so that when you were fumbling in the dark to set it up it just wouldn't matter which way it went. The slots can be used to attach it to a tree with straps if you prefer. Or you can use the small hole if you are setting up a line for a tarp. It weighs about 15 grams, but that will vary a bit based on your print settings.
