Backpack Strap Manager - 20mm - Backbone Strap

The Backbone Strap is the solution to loose hanging straps. Use these straps by rolling a loose strap then locking it down with the elastic band. These straps are tough as nails so they won't come off, they leave no sticky residue like tape, and are easy to move or remove. I actually sell these on my Etsy shop (link below) but I wanted to share my creation with the maker community. You would be surprised to find out that this simple design went through many many revisions. This strap currently fits 20mm straps, this is a common size for most backpacks. You will need to cut an 1/8" elastic cord (example link below) to 4.5 inches (115mm) and thread it through the two holes. You can secure the elastic with a small zip tie. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LFSPPOC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 As a veteran, when out in the field it is mandatory to keep our straps tied down. We used to use either tape or Velcro. But the Velcro always came off, and the tape left a bunch of goo behind. Neither were particularly easy to adjust. After about 20 prototypes I finally came up with the solution you see here. I use this product everyday now and thought I would share it with the world. I hope you enjoy the tidiness as much as I.
