Onyx BOOX Note 2 Stylus Holder

<p>I love my Onyx BOOX Note 2, but its case has a stylus holder which does not hold the stylus firmly, so it can fall off easily. Onyx offers a tether:<br/> <a href="https://shop.boox.com/products/cord-for-boox-pen-stylus">https://shop.boox.com/products/cord-for-boox-pen-stylus</a><br/> but having this bulky thing hanging is not nice.</p> <p>I designed this stylus holder so that it:</p> <ul> <li>Snaps itself into the case so it can not fall off.</li> <li>Its internal shape is elliptical:<ul> <li>There's enough friction to hold the stylus inside firmly.</li> <li>It is still easy to remove and insert the stylus.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>To insert the holder, you have to fold it into itself as the picture shows. Once inserted, it won't fall off.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I printed mine with Hatchbox TPU (95A), I recommend using a similar filament. Do not use Ninja Flex for this, as it is likely gonna easily fall of the case or let the stylus loose.</p> <p>I had to enable 20% fan for all layers, as without it, it was not cooling fast enough.</p> <p>I also configured the seam to be all on the back of the printed part, so all seams face the case when inserted.</p> <p>I also used variable layer height, and set to 50um just below the middle bezel, so it can take care of the overhang.</p>
