<h4>Forget about cutting your hand with a grocery bag thanks to this strong and ergonomic cargo hook.</h4> <h3>Description</h3> The cargo hook is designed for carrying heavy stuff comfortably. It's wider than most models you'll find online so your fingers will be fine even if you have to haul something over a long distance. I used one in each hand to carry four of those big five-liter bottles for 40 minutes through a forest to a friend's house. (It was winter so the water was shut off and drained to prevent it from freezing in the pipes and destroying them) Can't say I would do it again, but what I can say is that I could never do it with just my bare hands. For daily use, I usually throw two of these along with two cloth shoppers in my sling bag when I go out so I can buy a ton of groceries on the way back home. I have printed a lot of these to give to friends and family as well, and they seem to be using them a lot. I feel like this is a really nice way to show people who are new to 3D printing that it can be used for much more than just printing upgrades for your 3D printer :) This version is optimized to print in under an hour using PrusaSlicer's <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PVeh43Or-g">modifier mesh</a> feature to add infill to the most stressed part of the model—the hook. Print speed was also bumped up a bit over default settings (to 80 mm/s), but it's well within the limits of most printers. <img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/84104/rich_content/d0dbd10e-739e-4c48-8aa6-2ce5dfbff463/screenshot-2021-10-29-230418.png"> Since most of the strength of a 3D print comes from its perimeters, and this one has 4 of them, it should be able to handle any weight a reasonable person would want to carry on foot, despite not having infill in the handle. If you need more strength, you are welcome to experiment with print settings and see what results you get. I'm also interested in hearing how well this works when printed in stronger materials (I printed all of mine in regular PLA).
