Baha'i Temple from Video - second effort
sketchfab
Second "good" reconstruction of Baha'i Temple near Chicago from 4K video footage captured on YouTube. Utilizing 251 images saved in TIFF format, COLMAP and openMVS were employed for 3-D reconstruction. A hidden "mesh-file" option within openMVS was used to select the smaller region shown here, allowing for refinement and texture enhancement. However, a slight decimation of the model was necessary, accomplished using MeshLab, to meet the 50 mb limit required by the free Sketchfab account. The dome details have undergone significant improvement in this second model compared to its predecessor.
