This is a bahtinov mask for the canon lens hood ET-83D. It may fit on other lens hood as well (outer diameter of ET-83D: 115mm) I use it at night, when the autofocus doesn't work. Just look out for a point light-source such as a bright star or a lamp in the distance to get your things in focus.
