<p>Bait boat auger. </p><p>Intended for use on bait boats used in carp fishing. This one fits on the Carp Madness XXL Bait Boat Kit. The size of the auger allows for 8 mm pellets to be used. I haven't tried anything else yet, eg. wet particles.</p><p>It is driven by a cheap NEMA 17 stepper / A4988 driver. Screw design and Arduino sketch were based on Alex Gyver's work. Kudos to him! In my case, I connected it parallel to the bait dropper servo. But if you have a spare RC channel you may want to use that.</p><p>Auger speed (amount of bait being dispensed) can be adjusted by modifying the Arduino sketch (parameters: stepspeed_F, stepspeed_B, steps_F, steps_B). The comment section of the sketch details the electrical wiring.</p><p>Print all parts in PETG for extra strength. Glue parts together with clear Gorilla glue.</p><p> </p>
