Check out my concave buttons for the skate bearing here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2071591 And the triple sided version here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2063397 Update: I have just uploaded a second model which uses 1/2" (12.7mm) ball bearings instead of the 5/8" (15.875mm) ones if you prefer lighter weight or can't find the 5/8" ones. Also, both models now require no super glue and instead everything just snaps in and is secure. I stumbled upon Jim Skelton's videos on fidget spinners on youtube but I was definitely not paying $500 for a machined one, and I didnt really like the design of any of the ones I saw on here, they just didnt look very ergonomic to me. Now I'm not saying mine is, and I suppose you cant do all the tricks you could do with others, but I hadn't seen any designs like this and decided to give it a go. This is my first thing so I would appreciate any feedback, and if the demand is there I could attempt to make it customizable for different size bearings or different lengths. I would suggest printing this in brighter colors because when it spins it creates some cool patterns that aren't as pronounced when printed in black. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech G2S Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Would suggest printing with a brim due to the small size of the ends, I had issues with warping without a brim. Although my printer is basically a fancy looking piece of garbage so you may not have this issue. Post-Printing Materials "Skate" Bearing 2 5/8" Ball bearings or 2 1/2" Ball bearings The bearing will press fit snugly inside the housing, and the ball bearings just snap in.
