V1 was promising, but was just an attempt. V2 takes the same ideas, but makes it a single piece, rather than a bolt together pair. I re-did it in OpenSCAD to make it parametric as well. I am trying to create a ball head mount for a camera. The ball will be a 'hardwood doll head' I picked up at Micheals (42mm or 1 5/8"). This first run has at least one flaw: I didn't build anything into the base to attach it to the tripod because the split is on the centerline. Instructions Print, with support. You are going to need to cut out some of the support, so keep it sparse. I think a hacksaw blade may be a good choice to clear out the gap that is supposed to let it be flexible.
