Bally A-3944 Wedge/Wide Top Drop Target

Standard Bally Wedge Top Drop Target. It's always better to buy injection molded drop targets when you can, but if you're in a pinch, this will do the trick. Works for both side-by-side and in-line installations. PETG is recommended, as it is the sweet spot between the rigidity of PLA and the flexibility of ABS. PLA will be more likely to snap on impact, while ABS may overly flex, causing the drop to warp or possibly not fall as easily as it should, not to mention ABS's tendency to shrink as it cools may lead to out of spec dimensions. Update: We have printed and tested one made of PLA and it seems to work fine, so... maybe PLA will work better than originally thought. Experiment and let us know how it goes in the comments! Supports are required, but only for the back of the drop target head, where you will never see the surface. 50% or more infill recommended, as well as 4 perimeter walls and at least 5 top and bottom layers for maximum strength. Should also be compatible with: - Midway 0017-00042-0468 - Midway AE47-00016-0000 May also be a viable replacement for the previous generation Bally A-3773 drop targets, but it will depend on the shape of the drop target holes in the playfield and the drop target mech frame.
