Bambu Lab AMS Test prints - 16 colours!

<p>The Bambu Lab X1C with AMS can print 4 colours, with additional AMS units you can print with up to 16. I thought I would try to develop some test prints to help people establish if they had sufficient flush volumes set prior to embarking on a long and possibly costly print.</p><p>This is a work in progress and unfortunately I do not have 4 AMS units to test this myself, if Bambu Lab wish to provide me them I'd be happy to! :D</p><p>I previously created a test for flush volumes using just 2 colours. With 16 it is harder to do….. maybe impossible for all possible combinations!&nbsp;</p><p>My idea with the two prints is you could check for bleed between colours in the same way as my previous test. You can check the print order for the squares in the gcode view. There is also a pause after the first layer so you can inspect at that point.</p><p>I've turned off the prime tower.</p><p>The cylinder test print allows you to order the colours more easily and you could simulate switches through your intended print which will then allow you to check for bleed in the visible walls.</p><p>You can use either test for any number of colours, just select as appropriate. Also you can scale the prints if needs be.&nbsp;</p><p>May be obvious but the attached 3mf are for Bambu Studio only.</p><p>I welcome feedback. What can be improved, what have I missed? Thanks.</p>
