Face shield are supposed to be used with a rubber band. But in case of shortage you can print this. You can use the spring for anything else. If you rotate it along the right axis it will show a sinus function.

Prusa i3 MK3(S) can handle up to 488 bands in one go. You can easily generate more pieces in one column in .scad file but it takes a lot of time to render and save.

When putting on the face shield, place the gap in O-ring at the top of the face shield hook. This way it holds better in place.

Print instructions

Use PETG or Nylon. Other materials (PLA, ABS, ...) tend to crack (not bend).

Check the density of the spring. The denser, the softer (preferred)

O-ring is 3 mm wide. Check your face shield hook if it has enough clearance before printing large pack of bands.

set your extrusion width to 1 mm (0.4 mm E3D V6 nozzle)

disable infill

turn off "Detect thin walls"

You can print single piece in vase mode.
