Baofeng BF-888sa Battery Eliminator. Allows the use of this radio without a battery and instead uses a 12V automotive power plug (cigarette lighter). We use this part in our endurance race car, but there are many applications where it's convenient to have DC power supplied instead of using a battery. Electronics are required. You can purchase various Baofeng battery eliminators, but they will not fit the 888sa radio. Example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MDKYX9T/ Remove the electronics from the other housing, take care not to damage the wires or their connection the board or spring pins. I have not had luck 3d printing accurate horizontal holes, so I undersized the holes. You will need a 5/64" drill bit to open them up for the spring pins. Install the electronics in the housing ensuring the keep the polarity the same as the original part. Apply hot glue to the circuit board and wires to prevent fatigue & provide some extra strain relief. The main cable strain relief is designed to be attached with a #8 x 3/8 plastic self tapping screw. Available from McMaster Carr: 92295A311
