The cover has slits so you can still change the volume with your fingers. RadioBacking: Allows for the radio to be mounted directly to molle or horizontal strapping. This mount was designed to keep the radio open and ready to use without needing to dig into your pouch. Keep in mind that this will expose your radio to the elements, as well as emit light if you have the brightness turned up. Print with no supports The bottom ‘L’ shaped section of the mount is to ensure that there is no way for the battery to fall out
