This is a lid that can be fitted on a spaghetti box without extra help (the inward folding edge at the bottom bites into the cardboard box so it's pretty damn tight). Slide the door open to pour out the amount of spaghetti you want, nice and easy! The bridge on top of the body is designed to measure one regular portion (the smaller opening, of course), but you can adjust the portion according to your own need. Just open the door less wide if you want to have less, or insert the door from the other side to be able to make the opening bigger. You could even mark your own regular portion with a marker on the outside of the body. The slide door is relatively tight so you won't need to worry that it would slide by itself, but it's also not too hard to insert or move. I looked up the food-safety of PLA, and think that printing with natural filament is the safest, even though it probably will be fine anyway since the spaghetti is dry and hardly in contact with the material at all.
