Barney Bank Scan #1

Barney Bank Scan #1

thingiverse

This is a full 360 degree 3D scan of a vintage 1970's Barney Rubble and Bam Bam bank that I have inexplicably had since I was like 3 years old. It was scanned with a Kinect and a beta version of ReconstructMe from http://reconstructme.net I've included the original stl that ReconstructMe produced as well as a cleaned up (using Meshlab and NetFabb studio) solid version that is ready to print. I also uploaded a version that I re-meshed in Meshlab using the Poisson filter which produces a much smoother model. Instructions The trick to using a turntable with ReconstructMe is that you have to make sure everything inside the scan volume turns as the table turns. If it picks up something that doesn't move along with it, bad things will happen.
