The Ant Nest V2 Base provides a moisture-regulating compartment for cotton wool. This base is designed to fit seamlessly atop the nest, leaving ample space for a layer of absorbent cotton wool and a dedicated tray for pouring water into the cotton without requiring removal of the nest or exposing the ants to potential entry points. The design does not take into account heat mats or cables, but it may still function with ABS printing; however, its performance regarding heating and humidity remains uncertain due to limited aeration.
