Basic Air Track Glider

Basic Air Track Glider

thingiverse

This is a basic model for an air-track glider. The idea is that the regular metal gliders are so expensive, yet they would be so easy to make with a 3D printer. This will hopefully help lower the cost of successful physics education, while also opening doors for customization. I will be making prototypes and adjusting the model, but I would also like feedback from you out there (especially physics teachers and students) on how to make this a more viable product. The data I need is specifically related to necessary mounts (the current model has none) and mass adjustment. Your feedback is necessary to the success of this model! Be sure to notify me if you have any other ideas to help lower the price tag on education. Print Settings Printer: Printrbot Play Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Not tested, not a huge deal Infill: 10% Notes: Try different infills to adjust the mass. Make sure to post if you make this, and give me your data!
