Basic Container Project: Closed Container
thingiverse
Using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2536972 Corners, we're building a 20' closed container with doors on one short side that can be opened, of course. You can also have doors on both short sides. You'll need the same amount of Corner and Corner_mirror parts because the oval hole in the corner should be long-side up in the upper and lower positions of the container. So if you're building a standard container, you'll need four Corner_3 parts and four Corner_3_mirror parts. For one sidewall, you'll need Longside_1 at both ends and Longside_2 in the middle. For the roof, it's Roof_1 at both ends and Roof_2 in the middle. Container_Door_Hinge_B fits with A if you don't use 3D-printed doors with hinges B. You can use any material for walls, roofs, or doors, but hinges might need some sanding to work smoothly. Check out this YouTube link: https://youtu.be/S83Cjz6E4JE Aluminum profiles dimensions for a standard 20' container are: H: 161mm W: 152mm L (20'): 403mm You'll need the following parts: Aluminum profile 10x10x1mm Small screws M2x8 to M10, four of those for door hinges M3x170mm threaded rod, four of those for dummy locks Some glue for mounting profiles, walls, and roof parts Floor: wood, sheet metal, plastic, cardboard, or whatever you prefer.
