thingiverse
This is a basic hinge that is very easy to use. This can sustain about 50 grams without breaking or bending as long as it is printed completely solid and has a strong structure holding the receiver. Made with OpenSCAD.
Instructions
All you have to do to use this is to make a support structure or a base and and attach the receiver to it in your 3D modeling software. Then, also in your 3D modeling software, take the pin and make sure that it penetrates EXACTLY 1mm into the object you want to be hinged. Then just print the object and base/supports separately and assemble by snapping the pin and the receiver together.
