This is a basic Grasshopper definition for a four-hole button. (Easily modified for two holes by changing the rotation parameters.) Change the diameter, thickness, hole size, hole position, and face profile.
I've also included a few examples of buttons that can be made. Be sure to allow enough spacing between the holes to get a strong connection from inside to outside (this can be checked when slicing).
This is for Pittsburgh's Fun a Day, 2017.
