Basketball ring (a toy)

Basketball ring (a toy)

A ring and a holder for the basketball toy. The ring can be configured via source in Onshape. Current version: - inner diameter 130mm - 12 holes for the rope - 3mm each hole Mount screws: M5 bolts and nuts - 2 qty. The ring fixer should be also M5 screw, but the hole for it intentionally made smaller. The bolt will cut the thread in the plastic and it will fix itself. ### Assembling Print two half-rings. Glued them, I used PLA and cyanoacrylate. Put the whole ring into the holder and fixed by screw on the top. It is possible case that the ring still will float a bit. I should have fixed this problem by changing the lock to square.. but I don't want to spend more time. I just glued the ring and the holder. ### Source The source is [here](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/39d3955f40316fd1259357f4/w/016a74f656c3ed901958fa42/e/253bbf6e3b77403f9eb33e95). #### How to use my configurable models in OnShape To get an access to the thing source you'll need an account in OnShape. It can be free, so made it for yourself. Go to the document by the specified link. Go to the tab "**print setup**". There should be a few configurable values in the upper-left corner. Change what you need. Wait while rendering finished then export parts from this tab (see in the bottom-left corner). They already oriented in the best printing position. #### Printing disclaimer I printed the version, then improved it in the project. But I didn't print the latest version. So, by downloading my stl-files, you will get an improved, but not tested version of this thing. You must have a well calibrated printer including correct flow setting for the filament which you suppose to use. The printing tolerance is **0.15mm**. If you're not sure or didn't understand what I'm talking about - don't waste the time to make this thing. Or don't blame me after, that _your_ printed parts don't fit together. Also in some cases you'll need to use the tools (needle files for corners, drill bits for holes and etc.) to reach the best result from the printed model. Especially if use don't use Linear Advance or similar algorithm. You shouldn't expect that the model will be fine immediately from the printer. At least not always :)
