Batgirl 1967 Cowl and Utility Belt

thingiverse

This is a set of 3d print files to form part of the original Batgirl costume as worn by Yvonne Craig in the gloriously silly 1960’s Batman television show. It was designed as an upgrade for Rubies “Batman Classic 1966 Series Grand Heritage Batgirl” fancy dress costume. I made it because I bought the costume and although the suit fitted and cape me, the cowl didn’t and the utility belt buckle was slightly damaged and the pouches where ugly blocks of foam. The cowl is 3 files, cowl_ear.stl (print 2 of these mirrored), cowl_back.stl (print 2 of these mirrored also) and cowl_mask.stl (the front bit, only need one of these). The cowl is sized for a large adult head and might need scaling down a bit for some people. But when you scale it down remember to leave room for a wig underneath. The belt buckle is also in 3 parts, print one of each of bbat.stl, binner.stl and bouter.stl. It was done in 2 parts so you can print or paint the bouter and bbat in yellow and binner in black and then assemble them, no masking required. The actual belt I used was the fabric one that came with the costume, use that or search around for a more accurate one. The bpouch.stll is a dummy utility belt pouch, you’ll need four of these.
