Tim Burton‘s 1989 Batman set the standard both for the depiction of the character and for superhero movies in general. An integral part of the movie’s imagery was the Batmobile, designed by illustrator Julian Caldow. This model of the iconic car is the first model I’ve ever created with Autodesk’s 3D Studio Max. Can’t say it was easy.
