In "The Dark Knight," the Batcycle is also referred to as the Batpod. This bike features 20-inch front and rear tires and a high-performance, water-cooled single-cylinder engine with gearing prioritized for faster acceleration. Uniquely, it lacks exhaust pipes, routing its exhaust through its steel/aluminum/magnesium tubing frame instead. The Batpod is controlled by the rider's shoulders and has shields to guard their arms. It allows the rider to lie belly down on a tank with two foot pegs set 3½ feet apart on either side.
