Since the original NiCd battery pack is no longer available, I found a similar NiMH battery pack for Ryobi tools that was close in size but not an exact fit. This adapter will allow the Ryobi battery pack to clip into the Companion tools. The adapter just snaps into place in the tool and provides new clip points for the Ryobi battery pack.
