Battery cover strut for Makita lawn mower

My Makita lawn mower has a lift-up cover for the battery/start key compartment, but it doesn't stay up on its own. This makes changing batteries and inserting the start key very difficult while having to hold the cover open and juggle batteries. This strut is designed to sit in a convenient screwhole and hold the cover open. It has a second peg so it can be stored securely in the battery enclosure when the cover is closed.
