Replacement battery latch sliding mechanism for Lenovo 55+/55++ laptop batteries. Should work for any laptop compatible with battery FRU 42T4791 or similar, including the Thinkpad T420, as well as the following: ThinkPad L410, L412, L420, L421, L510, L512, L520; ThinkPad T410, T410i, T420, T510, T510i, T520; ThinkPad W510, W520. The OpenSCAD file is provided to allow adjustments to the dimensions to fine tune the fit. Some improvements could be made to better match the original plastic part in order to improve the sliding action of the new latch (the current version works fine for me, but may get stuck from time to time, so your mileage may vary).
