This was designed to hold a TalentCell 11000mAH battery (model YB12011000-USB, purchased from Amazon) to power my Celestron Nexstar 8SE telescope. The TalentCell battery has a higher capacity than the Celestron PowerTank, is cheaper, and is far smaller and lighter, making it mountable. Mounting it on the tripod means you don't have it on the ground at your feet to trip over. I designed this to pring without supports, and came out well on my Prusa MK3S Update: I started to find having to pop off the battery and move it to another leg of the tripod annoying on the rare occasions that I would slew my telescope around 180 degrees, so I designed a new mount that sits in the hand controller socket of the GoTo mount arm :https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5604648
