I made these a while back for personal use based off of the toppers that Berzemus created for his Hex terrain, since he had already scaled everything to perfection. I wanted find a way to modularly use the roads created by SirRob01 on https://sirrob01.com/2014/09/22/battletech-roads-asphalt/. I modeled some 1.75mm channels in each hex facing so you could slot in a small length of PLA and glue it in to serve as the male end of a push fit slotting system. This allows you to easily and modularly slot roads together that don't individually slide over your battlefield. See the pictures for details. As you will be glueing SirRob's roads or whatnot to the top of the tiles (I recommend laminating them) I have removed the center of the tile to drastically reduce print time but still provide enough surface area for the laminated paper printed part to stick to. As an added bonus the toppers will also still work with Berzemus' hex terrain.
