BB-8 Holoprojector (27mm interior)

The second part I've designed for my full-sized BB-8 build. The holoprojector should accommodate a 1" acorn capsule (those plastic capsules that vending machine dispense). This is the third iteration and I'm much happier with this one. Except for the number of dimples in the lens ring interior (to allow for print resolution), it's much more accurate now. ABOUT: Just a quick note to say that, while I realize there are some extremely accurate models out there already, my challenge to myself was to fabricate everything myself and get better at modeling. So I plan on making modeling or fabricating every part either form my own models or from base materials (I mean, I'm not crazy, I won't be blowing my own polycarb sphere. hehe) NOTE: These are works in progess and may be updated at any time as I test them out on the actual prop.
