Beaglebone Breadboard Mount for Parallax BoeBot
thingiverse
This is a versatile mount designed to securely hold and position a Beaglebone and a standard size breadboard in place. The breadboard is effortlessly secured by friction, fitting snugly into its designated area. Meanwhile, the Beaglebone is firmly attached using M3X10mm screws threaded into the mount's standoffs, effectively shielding the soldermask on the Beaglebone from potential damage caused by stainless steel screws. To prevent any potential harm to the soldermask, I have included printable screw spacers/washers that can be placed on the screws before threading them into the mount. For optimal printing results, it is recommended to use a 0.2mm layer height and print with three walls. However, thinner layers may also produce satisfactory results. Key specifications include: Supports Beaglebone Green and Black variants, ensuring sufficient clearance for all available models Accommodates both types of half-size breadboards, including those with rounded or trapezoidal tabs Optional mounting holes are provided for secure attachment to a Parallax BoeBot robot chassis. Printable spacers/washers are included to protect the soldermask on the Beaglebone from damage caused by mounting screws.
