This is my version of a Beam Compass. I know you can buy these but I wasn't happy with the ones I found. So if you can't buy it, make it!! The bar is stock aluminium you can get at any hardware store, .1875 X .750. The thumb screws are 10-32 at 3/4" long. You'll have to drill and tap the holes. A #21 drill bit is needed for the tap. The pins are some scrap stainless rod I had laying around. It measured .120". I cut them to 1 3/8" and I drilled a hole and super glued them in place. I then made the point on my sander. If you have a piece of 1/8" rod that will work too. Just drill the proper size hole for the rod you use. It took about 6 hours to print on my CR-6 SE. I used support blockers to make the bottom, top and screw print at 100% infill. So I included the 3mf file incase you don't want to bother doing that yourself. I used supports "touching build plate" and a "raft" because of how the screw prints. Hope you enjoy it!
