The research project, titled "Simulation of the casting mold, calculation of defects, stresses and deformations with LVMFlow (NovaFlow & Solid)," was conducted by me two years ago as a student. It involved using SolidWorks 3D models to simulate a casting part, permanent mold parts, core, and their respective drawings. The results of the modeling were documented in an MS Word article and an MS Power Point presentation. As it was a diploma project, all information is in Russian. The project involved the bearing cover (bottom) made of SS1505 Swedish casting steel or 30L GOST casting steel. A permanent metal casting mold and sand with Alphaset resin core were used. The software employed included SolidWorks 2015 for 3D modeling and drawings, as well as LVMFlow (NovaFlow & Solid) for the casting process simulation. You can access the project through this link: Bearing Cover (Bottom) - Simulation of the casting mold, calculation of defects, stresses, and deformations with LVMFlow (NovaFlow & Solid). Additionally, a video of the project is available here: https://youtu.be/j1yfXHMFFb0. Thank you for watching!
