The UP! printer that I received did not have the electronic filament feeder, it just had a curved plastic "shelf" for the spool to rest on. This seemed to have too much friction when printing on the fast setting and was causing the feeder to skip. I took the bearing designed by chylld, modified it slightly and created my own bearing mount and filament tube guide. This works for me and I hope it will help others too. Instructions Print 1x Spool Holder and 1x Spool Holder top. I rotated the top piece so that the triangular support was flat on the base. I rotated the holder so that the shaft was parallel to the base. Print 2x Spool Holder bearing. I printed these with the flange flat on the base. For the bearings, I used 0.3mm, normal with < 10deg support. This worked well and took all of 30 seconds to remove the support and have a working bearing. You may need to sand the shaft slightly, and use the curved knife to clean out the middle of the bearing so that they fit snugly, but not too tight on the shaft. Put one of the bearings onto the shaft, then the spool, then hold everything in place by fitting the second bearing. I have a few mm of lateral and vertical play on the spool but this doesn't seem to cause any issues.
