I took this opportunity to experiment with a relatively simple character model (based loosely on myself) comprised of boxes, and then used a combination of online textures for the cardboard, and wax-crayon drawings scanned in for decal details. I have to say, the mix of styles is really appealing! Certainly a better aesthetic than I would have achieved if I had stuck 100% digital for texturing. This also turned into an animation study. I haven’t done a lot of keyframed animation for characters, but I think I was able to portray some nice weights. This was also my first time keyframing moving ropes by hands, so hopefully things look believeable - low poly permitting. C&C welcome! Cheers, KM
