Bed levelling and retaining blocks for Piranha laser cutters

Set of support blocks for pirahna 1060 and similar laser cutters with the slatted bed and tubular sub-bed system. The corner blocks slide into the tubes of the sub-bed and 4mm x 20mm screws are used to expand the fins and lock them in place. The centre clamps simply slip onto the sub-bed. You MUST adjust the values in the program and re-run it before use, the supplied .STL is an example only and is extremely unlikely to fit your machine correctly! This design takes 2 sets of offset values for X and Y and an offset matrix for the Z heights. The "size_offset" are used to adjust the overall spacing of the retainer clips to allow for the slat table being larger than the sub-bed it's resting on. The "pos_offset" values are used to adjust for the slat bed needing to be off-centre from the sub-bed in order to clear the frame of the machine. The z_offsets_grid is a table of values for height adjustment in order to hold the bed flat and level. You should measure the relative heights of the bed compared to the nozzle of your machine at 6 points (the 4 corners and the middle of each long side), scale them so that the position with the smallest gap is a zero, and then set the offsets for all other positions to a positive value that indicates how much lower the bed is at that point. When the program is run it will create those blocks with more height so that the bed will wind up level. TAKE EXTREME CARE WITH Z-HOMING ON YOUR MACHINE WHEN FIRST FITTING THESE BLOCKS, IF THEY ARE PRINTED AT INCORRECT SIZES THE BED MAY FOUL ON THE FRAME OF THE MACHINE AND CAUSE DAMAGE.
