This is a transition of my bed warping tests from Thingiverse.

I was having warping issues and wanted to see how changing my bed temperature impacted printing so I made some basic models that have a similar shape to the models that were warping, but shorter to save filament.

I sliced the Top/Bottom pattern as "Concentric" to make it more likely that the part will warp since this has a squarish shape. This allowed me to dial in the temperature better.

Slice each model with the bed temperature it says and make sure to allow your bed to equilibrate to that temperature for ~10min before starting the print.

If you loose bed adhesion, you have gone too cold. If you get warping, too hot.

My initial experiment kept 'Build Plate Temperature' and 'Build Plate Temperature Initial Layer' the same, I now plan to experiment with modifying the bed temperature for the initial layer.

Originally posted results in Reddit, but I got requests to post the models, so here they are.

Here is my reddit post if you want to see the discussion.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ender3/comments/qz14ho/troubleshooting_warping_with_different_bed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Per request, I have added STL files for temperatures of 75-100°C. However, I have not printed these. My design of this test was intended to be conducted with Polylactic Acid (PLA) plastic and it's temperature range.

I recommend using the higher temperatures only for materials that were designed for those bed temperatures and within the tolerances of your printer. Go ahead and experiment, but be safe and rational.

I have also:

Uploaded a file with just "Bed =" so you can try a different temperature than the STL files uploaded and just write on it in sharpie.

Uploaded an obj version so if people want to remix this, they can do so easier.

If you like what I am doing, just send a friendly comment. Knowing people find my stuff useful and/or fun is enough, I do not require coffee or donations.
