Beddinge
thingiverse
Update:\nThe very first item I created, a challenge to get working properly.\nThree versions existed but only the initial one made it into circulation.\nUsing PLA for this attempt proved fruitless; ABS was tried and tested instead.\nThe original flat pocket was constructed with a rubber mixture that quickly faltered over time.\nVersion three is now available; I encourage experimenting with its design.\nPlywood sheets paired with bolts effectively took its place;\navailability of more favorable alternatives might be explored in the future.\nDesigning through Tinkercad, my maiden voyage proved moderately successful.\nIntended as a substitute part for Beddinge futons,\nan initial run of these experienced significant damage, courtesy of frequent usage by my son.\nThe originals appeared crafted from low-density polyethylene or polypropylene plastics;\npotential weak spots developed in their construction - the mounting tips often breaking off.\nPla is chosen as a first testing material; let's see if it does the trick. This model was produced using Tinkercad: Feel free to revise and share it: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bvqGK1eP5i2
