this bedframe is designed for a 200cmx160cm matress. the side compartments have hinges on the bottom and a stopping iron so they don't open too far (not in design) and are held closed with magnets. there is also a panel on the bottom (foot) part of the frame that is held on with magnets to access the storage space under the bed.(the measurements might be 1/10. i'm new to this)
