There is a cottage industry full of products designed to make the bedroom more comfortable / quality sleep more attainable. One such product - the bed jet - aims to keep you comfortable under the covers using a stream of air blown under the sheets by a nozzle. For this to work, the nozzle must be secured to the bed frame both precisely and firmly. The 'OEM' mounting hardware does a very good job trying to account for a wide variety of bed frames and mattress combinations, but does not work well for bed frames with a 'deep' footer board ... like that of the ikea/MALM. The air hose is held in place by a clip, that clip is attaches to the OEM hardware between the bed frame and the mattress. With a 'deep' bed frame, about 1/2 of the hose interferes with the bed frame using this configuration. This makes it impossible to properly secure and aim the nozzle which defeats the purpose! Hopefully you can see what I'm talking about in the second and third photo. The solution is simple: change how the hose clip is secured to the bed frame such that there is no longer a significant interference with the hose. You'll find two sets of parts here: - `hose-clip-bracket.m1v2`: this part emulates the OEM hardware and 'receives' the hose clip - `hose-support.m1v1`: this part is a simple "c" or "u" shaped hook designed to support the air hose. I use this to keep it off the floor so it's easier to vacuum around. Both are relatively simple to print. No supports needed if you use the suggested print orientation. Resolution, infill, material type ... etc really don't matter much as there are no super critical dimensions. The `hose-clip-bracket` is intentionally a bit oversized to account for the this. Since gravity holds the hose-clip into the bracket, a loose fit is fine. Attach the brackets to the bed frame as needed with a little bit of VHB tape or 3M Command strips.
