I needed a snap-connection for a model I was building and the remixed model was the best I could find. After printing a few prototypes, the 'cup' connection of the snap proved to be too flimsy to be able to withstand the flex necessary to have the ball interference-fit into the connection, and the cup 'petals' were too flimsy where they were connected to the cup base to not shatter off very easily. Both the cup and the ball were snapping off at the stem where it attached to the base fairly easily as well. I did the following to this model to get it into usable order in the context and usecase I had: - cleared material at outermost of 'petals' to lower overall flex as ball is snapped in - thickened petals themselves where they attach to base and add reinforcing ring there - thicken stem where cup and ball attach to base - shrink ball by 2% or so detached from stem This should be a much more usable snap connector at than the original on first print. I also used PETG for a bit more flex to allow the snap to actually occur without breaking the part.
