This turns an empty Beer bottle into a pretty candle holder Instructions The File has a simple line, BUT Load your beer bottle into your lasercutter with the butt to the y axis, I have a 50Watt Epilog helix and for raster 50% speed and 100% power top-down Stucki (I like stucki for some reason) and for Vector I set it for 40% speed 100% power and 2500 hz. Cut the line. This scores the top of the bottle. A few taps on the score and it should pop right off. Some bottles are thicker (Jack's down home punch) Cut it a few times. I carefully take the sharp off with a dremmel. Next I edit the file. I add what ever design I want, and delete the cut line. I put the bottle bottom back in and cut the design. Sometimes I do a design that is only 2/3 of the glass long, and 1/2 the glass wide, I cut it, turn the glass around and rotate it 90deg and cut again. That way I get the same image, mirror image and fully wrapped around. Play and enjoy!
